Baskin, Leonard. THE HYDROGEN MAN. F/O'S 249. Woodcut printed in red, 1954. 62 1/4 x 24 3/8 inches; 1581 x 619 mm (image); 93 x 40 inches (shape). Titled and signed in pencil. Edition unspecified, probably 50 or fewer. Because of the thinness of the paper, the ink looks almost the same on both sides; the artist, apparently inadvertently, signed this copy on the verso. We chose to frame the piece so that the face presented is the actual printed side, with the signature, visible through the paper, appears in reverse. In very good condition. Rare.
